Busy, Short Week

These last couple of weeks have been crazy busy. The last three days have been outta control busy. I have been trying to squeeze in a ton of last minute things before tomorrow…personal and church. I spoke Sunday about not letting the crowds crush you and keep you from Jesus this week. Well, I have been so in danger of falling victim to that myself. My to do list never seemed to get any shorter and the hours seemed to fly by so fast, especially since the week is really just a couple of days long!

Well, the busyness has finally subsided and hopefully, we can enjoy the day tomorrow, even though I have to go early to get ready for the Christmas Eve gathering tomorrow afternoon. By the way, people in ministry rarely get any time off before Christmas to enjoy. No matter how hard you try, there are still just so many things to do to be ready for a Sunday  then another  major gathering a few days later. That is why so many of us take the week after Christmas off. Not complaining, mind you, just saying the reality of it all.

I’m excited about our Christmas Eve Gathering @ The Ridge! It is going to be great. Our team has been working hard to get it ready and I think it is going to be very meaningful. If you are planning on attending, get there on time…or a little early. We will start at 5:30 pm and be out before 6:30pm. Bring someone with you who is far from God. They just might come on this particular night, when they wouldn’t any other time.
