Burkina Day 1 (really 3)

Safely arrived in Ouagadougou after 25 hours of travel.  Made stops in Paris and Niger on the way. We thought we’d have time to make a quick jaunt into Paris, but wound up not having enough time, so we just hung out in the airport. Pretty boring.

We had dinner with some of the missionaries here, Larry and Pete. Great guys. After that we settled in at the Baptist Center here where we are staying. It was great to get a shower and some sleep! J

This morning we are meeting with Jay, another missionary here and touring some ministry sites and meeting with others to look at future ministry opportunities. More details of the day to come later.

ELECTION AFTERTHOUGHTS – we saw the results this morning when we got up. All I can say is, “Oh, no. We’re in trouble.” I pray for our nation, that’s all I can say.
