I promised some more details of the trip my son and I went on recently to NY. Read the first installment HERE. We spent the first day in Cooperstown at the Baseball Hall Of Fame. In the morning before we went we did a couple of Bible study sessions and again when we returned to our hotel that evening. We also got to see some of the beautiful countryside of upstate NY. I loved Cooperstown. The town was like a movie set of Mayberry or something. We ate some real NY style pizza for lunch in Sal’s Pizzeria and then ate supper at the Cooperstown Diner, which is quite possibly the smallest restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. Very cool and the prime rib special was perfect as we split it (can’t beat it for $10.95!). In the evening, we went back to the hotel and swam in the indoor pool and chilled in the hot tub. Both of these were in a separate building which made it cold as we walked back to our room in the upper 40 degree evening air. Here are a few more pics from the trip:
The second day of our trip was to NY City. We also wrapped up our study time together with some good discussions and a special gift when we returned home. I’ll share about that and our time in NYC tomorrow.
